The SUNOVA Dockstart is a purpose-built pump foil board designed for dock starts, foil pumping, wake stealing, tow foiling, and anywhere you can step or jump onto your foil. At just 10 liters, its ultra-compact design puts you directly over the foil for a responsive, connected feel with minimal board beneath your feet.

Built for Dock Starts & Pump Foiling

The Dockstart strips a foil board down to what you actually need for pumping. Its compact 3'1 3/8" length minimizes unnecessary swing weight and gives the board an exceptionally direct connection to the foil.

A parallel outline distributes surface area beneath the rider while the rounded tail and defined nose keep the board compact and functional. The concave deck helps lock in your stance and makes it easier to feel exactly what the foil is doing underneath you.

Flat Rocker for a Direct Foil Connection

SUNOVA uses a completely flat tail rocker that allows the foil to sit cleanly in line with the deck of the board. Toward the nose, a subtle flip adds some forgiveness and helps the board recover and plane when being used for tow foiling or with a kite.

The bottom remains completely flat, eliminating unnecessary contours and keeping the design focused on efficiency and simplicity.

C2TR3Tec Construction

The Dockstart features SUNOVA's C2TR3Tec construction, combining a lightweight EPS core with carbon fiber rails and sustainably sourced wood. The result balances low weight, durability, flex, and resistance to everyday dings.
